What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll join a small technical team and build Kamoa's next generation of products: AI agents in production, marketing and customer engagement tools for our telecom and financial partners, and conversational channels that reach users where they already are.
AI agents in production: You'll design, deploy, and operate LLM-based agents beyond the prototype stage. This covers tool orchestration, guardrails, continuous quality evaluation, observability, and keeping cost and latency under control.
Adtech & martech: You'll build attribution, ad serving, CVM (Customer Value Management), and campaign management systems: targeting and segmentation, action triggering, and impact measurement.
Conversational bots: You'll develop journeys on messaging channels such as WhatsApp, including session management, webhooks, and integration with business systems and, where relevant, with AI agents.
Two-sided marketplaces: You'll contribute to platforms that connect two types of participants. This includes listing management, search, recommender systems, and matching.
USSD channel: You'll work on USSD services integrated with mobile operators and mobile money, with their specific constraints: short sessions, menus, and handling partner outages.
Web applications: You'll ship the web interfaces that support these products, such as partner portals, back-offices, and dashboards.
Technical leadership: You'll mentor more junior developers, challenge architectural decisions, and champion code quality across the team.
What We're Looking For
Core requirements
Experience: 5+ years as a Senior Full Stack / Backend Engineer, with ownership of production systems.
Tech stack: Strong command of Node.js/TypeScript and a modern front-end framework (React, Next.js, or similar). Solid experience with a public cloud (AWS preferred) and Docker.
Languages: Professional French and English.
Hands-on experience we're looking for — at least one area, ideally two
AI agents in production: LLM agents or applications used by real users, with evaluations, guardrails, error handling, and cost monitoring.
Adtech or martech: Attribution, ad serving, CVM, segmentation, and campaign management.
Conversational bots: Conversational journeys on messaging channels (WhatsApp, SMS, web chat, or others), integrated with business systems.
Nice to have
Two-sided marketplaces (listing management, search, recommendation).
USSD development and mobile money integrations.
Familiarity with the telecom or fintech sector in Africa.

Location: Brazzaville, Congo (on-site role).
